What is the Featured Business of the Week?
It's our way of showing appreciation to the businesses who help support our network. These women either go out of their way to participate in events, coordinate meetings, inspire discussion on the site, recruit others, and other similar things that help us all out.
How do I get to be the Featured Business of the Week?
We will choose a Featured Business of the Week from the most active businesses in our network. There are many ways to support the group and they don't all even involve leaving your house. Volunteer to moderate a board and inspire some discussion. Recruit women who own the businesses you frequently shop at. Help moderate one of our online chats. Contribute articles on subjects you are familiar with. Come to the events and help us make everyone comfortable to open up and build relationships. Anything that helps the group grow will make you eligible to be our Featured Business of the Week.
Why would I want to be the Featured Business of the Week?
Basically, your business will gain some extra exposure for the week that it is the Featured Business of the Week. You will be featured in the graphic box on the front page with a link to a full page description of your business. This full page description will have links to your web pages. The featured businesses are then archived on the site and can be accessed via a link from the front page. You will also gain search engine exposure, which is an added bonus.
